A Walk In The Park
For this assignment I was asked to create a motion graphic that visualizes sound or music based on observations made throughout the semester. I observed a park by my apartment in Mount Vernon, Baltimore, on E. Madison St. and N. Charles St. My mind wonders quite a bit in the park. Themes of isolation, loneliness, and self reflection appear in most of the illustrations I created in 2020.
I used this assignment as an opportunity to learn how to create my first walk cycle and synchronize it to a beat! You can find rough drafts of the walk cycle below. After this project, I really, really, REALLY, want to dive further into motion design!
